Mrs. Flint, After Illness
ORRVILLE -- Mrs. Florence B. Flint, 82, of 528 S. Vine St., died at Wayne General Hospital Sunday after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ on N. Elm St., with Henry McAdams in charge.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Gresser Funeral Home, or at the church one hour before the service.
Mrs. Flint was born May 12, 1889, in Orrville to William and May Gallatin Devery, and had lived all of her live in the area.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and taught for 45 years in the junior department of the Sunday School.
Surviving are two sons, Herbert Jr. of Columbus and John of Jenkintown, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. Harry (Elizabeth) Pollak of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Handwerk of Orrville, Mrs. Willard (Florence) Fritz of Big Prairie, and Mrs. Warren (Marian) Steiner of Orrville; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Carl (Mary) Cunningham of North Lawrence. Her husband, Herbert Sr.; a brother, Karl, and a sister, Zeda, died previously. |
